‘Putt Up A House’ – Habitat Camrose’s 1st Annual Charity Snow Golf Tournament

Come join us for a new outdoor event in Camrose!

snowgolf - puttingSnow Golf is a sport based on golf but played over snow instead of grass.  It’s fun. It’s different. And Habitat’s ‘Putt Up A House’ Charity Snow Golf Tournament encompasses the entire City of Camrose!

The 18 holes for this tournament are located in strategic areas around the City of Camrose, including iconic Camrose landmarks and local businesses.

Using a golf club and a soft foam ball, teams of four tee off at designated spots and keep score just like on the golf course. To get from hole to hole, your golf cart is your car. The day ends up with a banquet and awards ceremony.  It is a perfect outing for your group of friends, your family, service club, or company team building day.

Thursday, Oct 15, 2015 – Tuesday, March 15, 2015 ~ 3rd Annual DIY Challenge with Habitat for Humanity ReStore

  • Come on in… Find a Door, Window, Chair, Cupboard or even a Toilet and remake it into a piece of Art or piece of Furniture.
  • We will be putting them on display at the ReStore from March 16-19, where the public can vote for the best creation.

  • Habitat Camrose celebrates two milestones in 2016.  Our 20th year in Camrose and the building of our 29th and 30th homes.  We are proud to continue partnering with the community to build  homes in Camrose for deserving families in need.
  • We can’t do what we do without the partnership of our donors. So…our celebration is your celebration. The Hope Builders Reception is a time to thank our donors for helping us reach this milestone and to share information about the upcoming year.  It is also a time to hear from the partner families that will be receiving homes in 2016 and what a difference your donations make in their lives.
